15 Sweet Treats To Try In WDW

Some sweet snacks you should definitely try when in Walt Disney World! #WDW #vacation #food #treats #snacking #chocolate #icecream

Vacation. That magical time of year when calories don’t count. And Disney has so many delicious offerings throughout the parks and resorts! Here’s a few that I recommend giving a try!

Mickey Cake Pop

Where: Various bakeries and confectionaries, including Big Top Treats and Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom

Choose from a variety of flavors, and enjoy your pop topped with chocolate-covered marshmallow ears! Pictured is the red velvet cake with milk chocolate.

Croque Glace

Where: L’Artisan des Glaces in France at Epcot

Look on as the cast members craft your own ice cream treat pressed between a warm brioche roll…just choose your ice cream flavor and filling sauce (chocolate, raspberry, etc.). Unfortunately, despite having had this delicious treat several times, I can’t find one picture of it in my photos!

Mickey Rice Krispie Treats

Where: Various Locations, including Main Street Confectionary and Big Top Treats in Magic Kingdom, Sweet Spells in Hollywood Studios, and Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs

You can purchase these classics pre-made (still fresh daily!), or you can create your own apple at Goofy’s Candy Company…choose your chocolate and toppings and they will make it before your eyes!

Specialty Caramel Apples

Where: Various Locations, including Main Street Confectionary and Big Top Treats in Magic Kingdom, Sweet Spells in Hollywood Studios, and Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs

You can purchase these classics pre-made in packages or from the glass case, or you can create your own apple at Goofy’s Candy Company…choose your chocolate and toppings and they will make it before your eyes!

Cannoli

Where: The gelato stand in Italy at Epcot

This chocolate-covered crisp cannoli is filled with delicious sweet ricotta, chocolate, and candied orange. One of my favorite treats to snack on while perusing Italy!

Mickey Ear Hat Brownie

Where: Various locations, including Big Top Treats and Main Street Confectionary in Magic Kingdom

Choose from dark or milk chocolate, and sink your teeth into this moist, delicious covered brownie!

Warm Cinnamon Roll

Where: Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom

Enjoy this yummy treat (with a hint of maple flavoring) with a friend…it’s huge! I’ve heard that you can request extra icing…! This was too yummy and we forgot to snap a pic before digging in…google it and check it out!

Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake

Where: Tune-In Lounge

You can order this delicious treat to-go at the lounge inside 50s Prime Time Cafe, or you can enjoy it at this table-service location if you’re dining in!

Cheshire Cat Tail

Where: Cheshire Cafe at Magic Kingdom

This filled pastry is a sweet one, and you’ll probably want to share it with someone! Definitely worth a try!

The Kitchen Sink

Where: Beaches ‘n Cream at Beach Club Resort

This HUGE ice cream treat can feed 4-8 people, and is delivered to your table with much fanfare, disco lights and music. A whole can of whipped cream is used for one Kitchen Sink! You can find a smaller version of this treat in a cute Mickey pants souvenir bowl at Plaza Ice Cream on Main Street in Magic Kingdom.

Cinnamon Glazed Almonds

Where: Various carts and kiosks in each park

A classic that is not exclusive to Disney World, but a delicious treat nonetheless. You’ll probably be drawn in by the nutty aroma before you even see them on the menu! It is a personal tradition of mine to grab a bag full of these in Africa and munch on them as I explore Animal Kingdom!

Cronut

Where: Refreshment Port in Epcot

A light, layered donut treat, you can enjoy this simply rolled in cinnamon sugar or also topped with soft ice cream! Another one that I failed to take a picture of before eating…oops!

School Bread (Skolebrod)

Where: Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway at Epcot

This custard-filled, coconut topped sweet bun has a cult following at Disney. You may even be inspired to try your hand at them in your own kitchen when you get home!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake (AKA Butterfinger Cupcake)

Where: Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios

The popular Butterfinger Cupcake was previously found at the now-shuttered Starring Rolls…luckily it made it’s way over to Trolley Car Cafe under a new name! You’ll find a creamy treat in the center!

Mickey Cookie

Where: Various bakeries and confectionaries, including Big Top Treats and Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom, and Boardwalk Bakery on the Boardwalk

This is a simple but wonderful (and HUGE!) chocolate chip cookie dipped and drizzled with chocolate!

BONUS: Any Ample Hills Ice Cream Treat

Where: Ample Hills Creamery on the Boardwalk

I’m sort of cheating on this one by not picking just one menu item, but I think you could probably try anything here and be very pleased! We loved the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich (pick you own ice cream flavor to sandwich between the cookies!), and the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream is a fan favorite. While it tends to be a little pricey, this is probably going to be your best bet for ice cream on WDW property. Grab a refreshing snack and enjoy a walk down the Boardwalk!

There are so many great treats around The World that this doesn’t even cover the beginning! Happy snacking!
